During my time working at the NPS C&O Canal, I had the opportunity to contribute on various projects and further develop my skills. One of my first tasks was to design a logo for the Billy Goat Trail Stewards' 50th Anniversary T-shirt. I was asked to create a design that would later be printed on T-shirts for the stewards to while out on the trail. These t-shirts will be distributed in late 2024.
For the design, I wanted to incorporate the trail's elevation and hikers to highlight the connection to the park. Several iterations were tested to determine if there were an adjustments that need to be finalized before sending to process. The grey background was chosen to show how it would appear against the selected shirt's color.
*Iteration number 4 was ultimately selected for the final design.
